Moorland Gin
Our Moorland Gin is a proper Yorkshire G&T blend, we have utilised botanicals which can be seen in the landscape surrounding us – heather, meadowsweet, bilberry leaf and rowan berries to which we add water from the springs that abound.

Hedgerow Gin
Our Hedgerow Gin is a proper Yorkshire Pink blend – whatever one of those is! We have utilised fruits which can be seen in the hedgerows surrounding us – rosehip, rowan berries and raspberries to which we add water from the springs that abound. Just to add a bit of spice we also use pink peppercorns, nutmeg and ginger.

Old Gang Spiced Rum
Our Rum is spiced in a Gin-like fashion with ginger, cassia bark, pomegranate seed, nutmeg, black pepper, cardamon, vanilla, all spice and star anise. Its great mouthfeel comes from the oils from pineapple & orange peel, coconut shavings and carob pods.
It is finished with home produced Yorkshire oak shavings toasted to perfection then a little singeing before adding to the Rum – no colouring or additives!

The Frith
The Frith in Swaledale is the farmer who, for the year, monitors the gaetes, or the number of permitted animals on the moor.
This Gin is inspired by Karen from Frith Lodge who thankfully runs a B&B and doesn’t monitor the gaetes!
Like all our gins this is forward with its Juniper but has an amazing spice from the ginger, pink peppercorns, grains of paradise and nutmeg. This is balanced with a base of orange, cardamom, angelica and elderflower.

The Doctors
For the local GP (aka wife) ... so she wanted fennel, some nettles and that lovely sage by the back door!
Now she’s retired, well, eh, she’s around and it was done.
Pink Grapefruit was our citrus, added was a little bay leaf, some cardamon seed and cassia bark for a tiny spice and warmth.
Not quite as forward with the juniper but it's still there and gives that great mouthfeel.

The Tot
Islay Malt's have always been a favourite with Chris and Ian but how and how long? Our experience with making Rum showed us that we can age and colour spirits with oak chips far faster than tradition. But then 3 years in an oak cask! We haven't the space nor the patience. So we invented Tot.
Using the finest and highest Smoked Peated Malt Barley we have crafted a spirit (perhaps a "New Works" by tradition) which has hints of spice and orange but boy its peaty but not throat grasping.
